External bi-folding doors are typically used in residential homes to open up the family room to include the outside decking or paved court areas, providing an elegant and space saving gateway to the immediate external area.
Perfect for entertaining, family and friends.
Bradworthy Bi-Folds are designed to compliment your design and architecture requirements with elegant and functional custom fitted variations of door layouts covering widths up to 5.8 metres and windows covering widths up to 4.8 metres. Layouts can include internally only or internally and externally opened doors, with single opening doors placed to suit our client’s own requirements.
We have a standard sizes range or we offer a made to measure service available at no extra cost.
Bradworthy Bi-Folds are made from 1st class Western Red Cedar which has an exceptionally high dimensional stability rating, unequalled by any other timber used commercially in Australia.
Our bi-fold doors offer unparalleled quality, including Dead lockable door handles where required and built with 4mm toughened glass as standard. However our bi fold doors can come with a range of different glazing options including 4mm toughened glass, 6.38mm laminated, Low-E, tinted, translucent, double glazed with argon gas.
Quality Centor E2 Stainless Steel fittings including Forte brushed metallic drop bolts and Schleglel AQ21 weather and acoustic seals provide the ideal answer to your desire for large opening to alfresco areas wherever they are needed.
You bi-fold door can be finished in a complimentary stain or painted to match your individual colour scheme. We recommend two coats of either at our factory before we install your new bi-folds, this ensures the doors remain stable as all end grain timber has been properly sealed. Our craftsmen will remove your existing doors and install your new bi folds so that you will have many years of enjoyable and problem free use.
For people who want to open their bi-folds and screen out insects, we recommend the Centor P/L fly screen system, that retracts into the bifold door jamb instead of something tacked on as an afterthought.
Load Balancing Technology allows for the effortless fingertip control when opening or closing your window fly wire. It also means far greater mesh tension across the screen, eliminating any tendency for sag, while Tight Technology manufacturing techniques ensure control of the horizontal edges of the screen so they remain straight and tight across the widest spans. There is no cord spring-loading to fight against, no cumbersome latches or locks just a simple magnetic catch.

Hi Glen and Robyn, glad you like them, your job did come up nice.
The colour is walnut but that is for the HLS wood preserver used on the sill (only needed if you scratch them) , the rest is on the paint schedule . Just give them a spray with WD40 top track and h/ware every now and then. if the sun does not hit them you will be fine after you apply the last two coats. Could I use your last email as reference material on our web page?
One last thing because you have a pet dog make sure you vacuumme the bot fly track as small animal hairs build up in the side rollers over time (5/6 years) and may jamb the roller.
